Hands On Music, LLC is a music and entertainment company offering mobile DJ services, among other things. DJ Harris is excited to extend his skill and passion for music to wedding couples, and he considers it an honor to become your new DJ. DJ Harris has a background in entertainment, working for The Walt Disney Company for 13 years and performing as an independent musician and artist for over 15 years.

His experience as a Walt Disney World coordinator, and Guest Service Manager in the Walt Disney Parks has given him opportunities to learn and master the skills of excellent customer service, systems thinking, partnership and collaboration, problem solving under pressure, communication, the elements of putting on a good show, and maintaining safety in group settings. DJ Harris uses these skills to surprise and delight his customers. As he says, "although I am the DJ, I do much more than play the music. Playing good music is an end product of a process that involves making sure I understand what the customer wants. It is also important that I am confident in my ability to deliver the requested service even in the midst of technical and/or social challenges."

DJ Harris provides mobile DJ service for weddings, school dances, public events, in-store promotional events, private parties, and organizational events. This means that he has the ability to recognize how different music works best for certain situations, moods, and groups of people.

Hands On Music, LLC officially started doing business in February of 2016 after Aaron (DJ Harris) and Kelsey (his wife) moved from Florida to Oregon. At that time, DJ Harris had the theoretical knowledge and skills of DJ'ing, but he didn't have any practical experience. So he offered to do his first wedding for a whopping $100 and absolutely fell in love with the idea that he could be a budget friendly option for couples who cannot afford to pay over a thousand dollars. In 2016, DJ Harris performed at about 15 weddings and multiple other events. All the while, Kelsey and Aaron were working hard behind the scene to reduce overhead costs (web sites, accounting, expenses) so that they could increase their profits without raising prices too much.

Today, Hands On Music, LLC is still one of the low-cost options for wedding DJ service and we have expanded our offering of services.
